Sony Pictures Entertainment merilis trailer film sekuel Jumanji berjudul Jumanji: The Next Level pada Senin (1/7/2019). Dalam trailer muncul beberapa tokoh baru yang akan ikut berpetualang di dunia Jumanji.
JUMANJI ini adalah sebuah permainan di mana orang-orang bisa masuk ke dunia game dengan karakter berbeda dan harus menghadapi petualangan yang menegangkan. Cerita ini masih disajikan di film ketiga.
Menurut Jake Kasdan selaku sutradara, Jumanji: The Next Level akan dibuat dengan konsep yang sama dengan Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle yaitu dengan menggunakan permainan video sebagai fokus cerita.
Sinopsis
Akhirnya semua tim kembali ke Jumanji untuk menyelamatkan salah satu dari mereka. tetapi mereka menemukan bahwa tidak ada yang seperti mereka harapkan. Para pemain harus berani ambil bagian yang mereka tidak ketahui, dari gurun kering ke gunung bersalju, untuk melarikan diri dari permainan paling berbahaya di dunia.
Ketika Spencer (Alex Wolff) berhasil memperbaiki konsol game Jumanji yang ia hancurkan di film sebelumnya bersama dengan ketiga temannya Martha (Morgan Turner), Bethany (Madison Iseman) dan Fridge (Ser'Darius Blain). Ketiga teman ini lalu datang ke rumah Spencer yang mendadak hilang.
Martha dkk hanya bertemu dengan kakek Spencer (Danny DeVito) dan teman tuanya (Danny Glover). Martha curiga kalau Spencer kembali ke dunia Jumanji dan berniat menolongnya. Martha masuk ke dalam game Jumanji setelah menyentuh konsol. Begitu juga dengan Bethany dan Fridge.
Sinopsis English
A team of friends return to Jumanji to rescue one of their own but discover that nothing is as they expect. The players need to brave parts unknown, from arid deserts to snowy mountains, in order to escape the world's most dangerous game.
Spencer (Alex Wolff) managed to improve the Jumanji game console which he destroyed in the previous movie along with his three friends Martha (Morgan Turner), Bethany (Madison Iseman) and Fridge (Ser-Apadari Blain).
These three friends came to the Sudencer House who was suddenly lost. Martha et al meets the spiencer's grandfather (Danny Devito) and his parents' day (Danny Glover). Martha suspected if Spencer is going back to the world of Jumanji and intends to help him. Martha into the Jumanji game after touching the console. So also with Bethany and Fridge.
